Guide for the Development of HOME Program Rental Housing
The Guide for the Development of HOME Program Rental Housing manual (revised June 2009) is intended to provide a basic description and explanation of HUD’s rules and regulations (24 C.F.R. Part 92) as they relate HOME Rental Development funds and CHDO set-aside funds. It is the responsibility of the owner/developer to be aware of all applicable rules and regulations affecting the organization and its housing developments, and to ensure compliance with HOME Program regulations, contractual agreements with the corporation and all other applicable laws and regulations.
Presented here, the guide is available in Adobe Acrobat PDF format, which allows the document to be downloaded, viewed, and printed with all of its original formatting and graphics. Many of the forms discussed in the manual are available in Microsoft Word 2007 format on the Program Forms link on the HOME Rental Development page.
